Mark Mazo is a senior M&A partner and is a leader in developing the Hogan Lovells firm-wide M&A practice. Mark acts as a senior counsellor to some of the firm’s major clients, and he works regularly in the Paris and Middle East offices. Mark’s work focuses on cross-border transactions with particular emphasis on strategic and financial investments, joint ventures, and acquisitions for international investors from the Middle East and for European companies. Mark’s experience includes extensive representation of major Middle East investors and European companies in mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and alliances in Western Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. His practice involves structuring, negotiating, and executing complex investment, acquisition, and divestiture strategies, including the development of joint operating and commercial arrangements among strategic partners, and the purchase and sale of multinational businesses. Mark has experience structuring, negotiating, and implementing numerous cross-border joint ventures, and he has taught extensively in the field.
