Mr. Xercavins has extensive experience in corporate law and M&A, particularly in joint ventures, business restructurings and private equity. He has advised some of the leading hotel chains and tour operators in Europe and the US, and relevant financial institutions in the framework of the restructuring of the Spanish financial sector. Until July 2006, he was managing partner of the Cuatrecasas New York office, where he participated in numerous cross-border transactions and gained in-depth knowledge of the most important aspects of the common law legal system. He is secretary of the boards of directors of several companies, and a member of the Barcelona Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is a member of the Fòrum Social i Empresarial del Consell Social of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Foreign Legal Consultant in the State of New York.
