Teo Berdeja is a corporate partner with a broad multinational transactional practice. He has structured and negotiated international banking transactions, cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, equity funds, project financings and numerous other kinds of transactions and commercial arrangements. Mr. Berdeja received his BA in 1971 from Colegio La Salle, his J.D. in 1975 from Universidad Iberoamericana and his LL.M. in 1978 from Harvard Law School. Mr. Berdeja is partner at Berdeja Abogados. Prior to joining Berdeja Abogados he was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York during 1979 to 1980. Mr. Berdeja is a member of Barra Mexicana de Abogados and the American Bar Association. Based on surveys of other practitioners, he has been identified as a leading lawyer in Chambers Latin America, Legal 500 Latin America, Mergers and Acquisitions Handbook and IFLR: Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms.
