Chadri Jurnalis is a Partner of Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners. He joined the firm in 1995 and was made a Partner in 2004. Prior to joining HPRP, Chadri was in charge of the legal department in a private bank where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in finance and banking. With his extensive knowledge in M&A and financial services related matters, Chadri has been playing key roles in a wide range of major transactions involving State Owned Enterprises, banks and other institutions from multiple industries, covering plantations, mining, steel, manufacturing, construction, and consumer goods for various legal works. Chadri has a depth of experience in dealing with sharia related transactions. He has assisted with significant deals of clients who have brought him and the firm to achieve awards. Examples are the acquisition of a fully planted 83,000 hectare palm oil estate with a transaction value of approximately US$1 billion.
