Celso has 15 years’ experience and specialises in complex disputes, including class actions. He concentrates his practice in arbitration, litigation, product liability and corporate restructuring. He heads the product liability department and is the lead partner for key clients especially in the automotive, aviation and pharmaceutical industries. Earned an LLM in law, science and technology from the Stanford Law School and obtained his LLB from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP). He os Member of the Commission of Biotechnology and of the Commission of Arbitration of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP).
Fabio de Almeida Braga has been a member of the Corporate Finance team of Demarest Advogados since 2006. He conducts activities and projects related to different areas of the Brazilian financial market, with special focus on transactions intended to meet the specific financial needs of the automotive industry, in all the phases and sectors of its chain. He is also highly experienced in corporate finance syndicated transactions, including debt restructuring projects. His activities also include the creation of finance programs between large distribution and consumption companies and financial institutions. He has been leading projects on the establishment and operation of (national and foreign) financial institutions, and has an outstanding performance in carrying out the respective administrative proceedings before the Central Bank of Brazil. Likewise, he has considerable experience in handling punitive administrative proceedings before the Central Bank of Brazil, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Financial System Appeal Council.
Following his graduation from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2008, Guilherme has worked for Demarest since 2009. His practice focuses on Dispute Resolution and Debt Restructuring, Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy, particularly in Judicial Reorganization and Liquidation Proceedings. Amongst his regular clients he advises several domestic and foreign companies of different industries and financial institutions, focusing on recovering credits, both in judicial and out-of-court proceedings, or investing in distressed credits or in financially distressed companies.
